Ability Crafting is one of the four methods of obtaining certain abilities (Without counting trading) in AUT such as stands and specs based on other animes, being an alternative to consuming items, defeating bosses while having equipped specific abilities and completing quests. At the ability crafter, the player can use the items they have obtained from crates along with the ability shards obtained through the Ability Banner to directly craft and obtain abilities by spending these resources.
Certain abilities will require more or less grinding to obtain this way due to item and shard rarity, however, most of them can still be obtained through the other three methods mentioned before, with a very small amount of them being exclusively obtained through crafting. Not all abilities are available this way, the exceptions being abilities that are straight-up exclusive to the other alternatives for ability obtainment.
