Ascensions are a system added in during the New Universe Update 2.7, which allow the player to receive Skin Crates for free by ascending their ability every even ascension. Also, ascending allows the player to be able to receive higher rarity of traits as they ascend, allowing players to unlock Legendary and Mythic traits for free. To ascend an ability, the player must first max out the ability at level 200 and pay 1,000,000 UCoins in order to ascend their ability once. When you ascend an ability, it will reset in levels, but keep the moves you have unlocked, making it easier for you to grind early on. However, ascending an ability DOES NOT increase its level cap in any way. Players also cannot trade over their Ascension Level through trading the ability with the Ascension Levels, just like how Levels cannot be traded over as well.

Rewards[]

Ascending an ability will increase its ascension rank, and every 5 ascensions the game will reward the player with 1x Random Kill Effect. The player also receives a 0.025% (or 2.5%) Exp gain for every ascension on the current ability up to a maximum of a 3x multiplier. This does not cross over to other abilities, and ascension levels do not cross over either, due to all player progression being different for every ability.

Trait Rarity[]

While ascending your ability, if the player reaches Ascension Level 5, they will be able to obtain Legendary Traits for their ability from pity or randomly getting it from every 25 levels. If the player ascends their ability to Level 10, they will be able to obtain Mythic Traits for their ability from pity or randomly getting it from every 25 levels. Ascending 1 ability to Level 10 also gives you the title 'True Ascendent'. However, please note that increasing your Ascension Level DOES NOT increase the likely-hood of you receiving the rarest trait you can receive, rather it decreases the chance due to the pity increasing by 20 after Ascension Level 5 and by 40 after Ascension Level 10, making the pity for a Legendary Trait 80 and a Mythical Trait 100.

Trivia[]

  • During version 2.7, ascensions used to increase an ability's level cap up to 500. This was later decreased to 200 and completely removed in version 3.0.
  • Traits used to give the player skin crates every even ascension, for instance, Ascension Level 2 gave the player 5x Skin Crates. However, this was removed in Update 3.7 and replace with receiving a random Kill Effect every 5 levels.
