The Black Market NPC Is an NPC that spawns every 5 - 10 minutes and will spawn at 1 of 4 possible locations on the map. This NPC allows you to sell items in exchange for UShards. This NPC is very reliable because of how you can sell excess items to easily gain UShards to roll on the Ability Banner, or to roll crates. Additionally, it allows you to sell your Ability Shards in exchange for EXP. The Black Marketeer also allows you to obtain 1 of 3 Gun Themed Subpowers, Each requiring a different amount of Gun Parts and UCoins. Every time The Black Marketeer spawns in, it usually shows a notification down in the bottom right of your screen, along with an additional zipping noise.

There are 4 locations which the Black Marketeer can spawn:
- Floating Village: Near the Umbra NPC to the right.
- Desert Entrance: Hiding behind one of the trees.
- Center City: Near the Train Station behind a building.
- Port: Hiding behind the wheel of the blue container crane.
