Overview[]
Cid Kagenou is a boss that was added on Update 3.6. Cid Kagenou is the titular antihero and protagonist of The Eminence In Shadow series. After a premature death, he reincarnates into a world of swords and sorcery. Choosing Shadow as his nom de guerre, he leads the secret organization Shadow Garden.
Drops[]
- Cid has no drops, but you can gain the Slime Energy by talking to Bur (NPC) and receiving his quest to obtain the Slime Energy once returning to him.
Appearance[]
Cid Kagenou appears as a young teenage boy with a black and purple cloak embroidered in gold. He wears armour made of cast steel with a dark hue and weapons underneath his cloak, his head hidden under a hood. He weilds a cast steel blade with the ability to circulate atomic energy at a great scale, and has a permanent smirk on his face.
Spawn Location[]
Cid Kagenou can only be spawned by the player for 1,000,000 UCoins and the Cursed Gemstone (which you receive upon completion of Eminence in Shadow Questline) at the Boss Summoner located within the Infernal Cairn Or Domain Of The Forgotten. He cannot be stunned, grabbed, and ragdolled, and upon reaching half health he awakens, significantly increases his damage and speed. The player MUST do the most damage to the boss to receive credit.
Trivia[]
- Attempting to fight this boss with the Sakuya Izayoi Spec will cause you to die instantly to any attack performed by this boss.
- This extra feature could be added to prevent cheesing the boss.
- If you summon Cid and don't deal the most damage among those who dealt damage to him, the quest will fail and you will have to start all over again.
- You can also be hindered by other players from dealing damage, so be careful.
