Mounts are reliable transportation vehicles in AUT, as they allow you to travel distances faster. They can be obtained by either buying a bike mount from The awad (NPC) for 100,000 Universal Shards, buying a hoverboard for 250,000 Universal Shards, or by completing the Daily Quest (Some mounts cannot be obtained by the Daily Questline from the Daily Quest (NPC). Visit the page for more details). You can also buy all of the mounts in the Mount Shop in the Store for UPoints excluding the Bike and the Hoverboard. There are two types of Mounts: Hoverboard mounts, and Bike mounts. Hoverboard Mounts allow you to hover over obstacles and glide over high distances, however you cannot jump with Hoverboards. On the other hand, Bikes allow you to jump, and the amount of height depends on the Mount. Bikes cannot glide over distances, and instead falls down due to gravity. Some mounts have different aspects such as speed, velocity, acceleration, and more.
- Some NPCs such as the Ghost Rider grant quests to obtain a mount, and bosses like Crocodile can drop a special mount.
- As of Update 4.9, ALL Mounts are now 20% faster than before.
To equip a mount, you must access the player inventory and equip it from the Mount Inventory. It will appear in the player's hotbar as an item called 'Mount'. This item cannot be sold.
