Overview
Shadow is a Legendary ability added in Update 3.6, and is based on Cid Kagenou from The Eminence In Shadow. This spec is the only spec ingame with the most moves, and is one of the hardest character to get in A Universal Time.
Attainability
To obtain Shadow there is only 1 route.
Route:
- The player first must seek out the Bur (NPC) and accept Bur's quest to kill Shadow, which will reward the player with Slime Energy when the quest is complete.
- The player must then head over to the Kame House and talk EpicNitronX203 with a level 200 ability, then accept his questline.
- The player then must complete the questline and will be given the Cursed Gemstone, which is then used to summon Cid Kagenou with the Cursed Gemstone and 1,000,000 UCoins at the Boss Summoner.
- Go to Bur to grab the kill quest before defeating Cid Kagenou. After defeating Cid Kagenou, the player must then head back to Bur and he will give the player Slime Energy, which when used on Standless, will give the player the Shadow Spec.
Passive
| Cursed Touch | Certain attacks mark targets, these mark targets can be hit again & it will allow you to consume the mark & heal using it. Heal scales off your previous damage and the new move damage & has a limit of 30, with minimum being 5 healing. |

Trivia
- When this spec first released, the obtainment confused alot of people and many began to complain about not obtaining the Slime Energy from the boss Cid Kagenou, not knowing that a secondary quest was needed to be able to obtain the Slime Energy.
- The Shadow spec has the same passive as Cid Kagenou, as when the player uses any of the moves above on a Sakuya Izayoi spec user, they will instantly one shot them, regardless of any stats or trait.
- One of Shadow's quotes ("I need... more... power.") is a direct reference to Vergil from the Devil May Cry series.
- The move "I am Atomic." has a global cooldown of 1 minute, meaning once used, nobody can use this move for 1 minute.
- If Umbral Charge hits a target, it will never have a cooldown until the player misses the move, which will result in a 10 second base cooldown.
