Summary
There are a lot of abilities and canonical stands in A Universal Time. Most abilities are originally made, and some abilities are called universal abilities - universal abilities are special abilities from other franchises. Canonical stands are stands that are from the original JoJo Universe - the staff team of the game have made their own non-canonical stand with the same appearance as some stands in the JoJo Universe, except they have different colors and accessories. This page lists all universal abilities/original abilities, non-canonical stands, canon stands (we can go on) in the game.
- A Stand is a visual manifestation of life energy, regarded as the own user's soul. A Stand is an entity spiritually called forth by its owner, referred to as a Stand User. It generally presents itself as a figure or entity hovering over or near the user, and possesses abilities beyond that of an ordinary human, which, depending on the Stand User, are wielded for good or evil.
- Some stands later on are named after songs, bands, or singers instead of the Tarot cards and deities like the case of their introduction.

Trivia
- Building on Court de Gébelin's Egyptian connection, Etteilla claimed that tarot cards originated with the legendary Book of Thoth, which supposedly belonged to the Egyptian god of wisdom. According to Etteilla, the book was engraved by Thoth's priests into gold plates, providing the imagery for the first tarot deck.
- Tarot cards are there to give guidance, and as shamans like to say, “medicine” around what is happening in your personal orbit: love, money, career, goals, and general life path. How should someone interpret the cards they pull? Every tarot deck comes with a guidebook to aid in interpretation.
- Stands also have Tarot Cards in Stardust Crusaders, but it was no longer shown anywhere else in the anime and not in any other JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Parts.
